B Beachy SystemsCustom software built to last

Software built like good cabinetry — for businesses ready to automate the tedious manual tasks.

I build the custom operational tools a small business actually needs: the messy manual process, turned into something solid you can trust and hand to your team.

What I build

The tool that should exist, but no one sells off the shelf.

Most small businesses run on a stack of spreadsheets, manual paperwork, and steps someone has to remember to do. I replace that with software fit to the exact process.

01

Replace the spreadsheet

The shared workbook that five people edit and no one fully trusts becomes a real app with one source of truth, proper permissions, and a history of what changed.

02

Automate the busywork

Guest texts, billing runs, reminders, late fees, follow-ups — the recurring work that eats your week runs itself on a schedule, and logs every action.

03

Documents that generate themselves

Invoices, statements, proofs of insurance, gift cards — produced as clean PDFs on demand, instead of being rebuilt by hand in InDesign every cycle.

04

Built to run for years

Nothing to patch, nothing to babysit. It keeps working quietly in the background and scales from your first record to your ten-thousandth without a rewrite.

Selected work

Real systems, running real businesses.

Auto‑Aid

Insurance billing

A self-insurance vehicle-sharing plan for churches. Manages the org → church → member → vehicle hierarchy, computes prorated contributions in units, and generates proofs of insurance and invoices — replacing a spreadsheet-and-InDesign workflow end to end.

Time saved ~3 days a quarter — the billing run went from days to about 20 minutes

Trailside Lodging

Hospitality ops

A five-cabin rental in Amish country, run almost entirely on software: a rules engine that texts guests off their booking data, gift cards, lock-code automation, and a book-direct marketing site.

Time saved ~40 guest texts a week — all sent on time, not one typed by hand

Flow & Brain

Personal tools

Two tools I use daily: a finance tracker that turns bank exports into a flow-of-money picture, and a knowledge base you capture into in one tap and then query later in plain language.

Time saved an evening a month — a month of transactions, sorted in seconds

How I work

I take projects end to end — from sitting with the real, messy process to a shipped tool your team uses on Monday. No hand-off to a team of ten, no ticket queue.

The domain logic gets built and tested first — the billing math, the rules, the edge cases — before a single screen is drawn. That's why these systems hold up under real data instead of falling over on the weird cases.

And everything ships on infrastructure you don't have to think about — no servers to maintain, nothing to patch, no surprise maintenance. It just keeps running.

Let's talk

Have a process that lives in a spreadsheet?

Tell me what your team does by hand every week. If software can take it off your plate, I'll tell you straight — and if it can, I'll build it.
